Duplicate Feed Items

I subscribe to the java.blogs feed so I can discover new blogs. On the down side, I end up seeing items from feeds I'm already subscribed to twice which makes it harder to pick out new blogs. Do you know of a way to filter out duplicates in NetNewsWire or even better in Bloglines?

I have feeling that java.net blogs are duplicated same posts in multiple feeds. Not only for aggregators like Aquarium, etc...

This is what I do. Instead of subscribe to the javablogs directly, I wrote a ruby script that acts as a proxy in between the javablogs and NNW, taking advantage of NNW's capability to use a script as feed source. The ruby script then does certain pre-processing such as mark duplicate, remove blogs written in languages I don't read, etc.
