Introduction to Guice Video (Redux)

I gave my introductory Guice talk as part of the Google Open Source Developer Series. This is pretty much the same talk I gave in Beijing except the slides are better integrated into the video, which makes it easier to follow.

If you've been wondering what all the fuss is about, now's the time to find out! You can download Guice from its homepage. After the talk, check out the user's guide and Javadocs for more details, and join the mailing list.

Thanks, everyone who came out!

Hi,
My internet connection is a little slow, so I'm not able to view the video. Is there any direct link so that I can keep it for downloading overnight?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Dhruv

Bob - you lost me at "stupid simple." I don't think I passed the test. But for some reason I'm still impressed. I'll catch you in October?

Constructors rule. I feel vindicated after years of bugging developers with my backwards thinking. :)

Bob,

I'm sold, and I'd really like to try it out.. but is it not in the Maven repository yet? Doesn't appear to be.

all good and fair, but why did you have to call it Guice (pronounced Juice)? we have a hard enough time with people mispronouncing our name as it is...

How Guice compares with Spring framework, looks like instead of configuration xml it is java modules? Are there any huge differences between spring-core and Guice? I appreciate, if anybody can point out pros and cons among spring and Guice.

The video is still not working in any way. The google link provided by Adam is returning this message "404. That’s an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know." Maybe it was remove from google, but thanks Crazy Bob... for the intention.

Hi guys; Here you have a good explanation about dependency injection.
The explanation is related to the use of different enviroments (develop, test, production) it's a good one:
