I will be very upset because I bought a quad G5 right before Christmas.
Update: We're in the clear. While we're on the subject, does Rosetta go both ways?
I don't think you should be upset about it. You bought an excellent machine with a lot of horsepower. In addition, you don't have to worry at all about reliability. Who is to say that we are not entering a period of "debugging" the MacIntel machines for the coming months. They will inevitably put the Intel chip in the PowerMac (or what ever they plan to call it). If you decide you don't want the Quad G5, can I have it? :-) Good Day!
I'm a stay-at-home dad. I used to be the CTO of Square. I also created the Jolt award-winning Guice framework and led the core library development for Android.
